Questions people ask
Who counts as an activated seat?
A workspace admin explicitly activates each Slack user who can ask ONE to do work. Reading replies, joining a channel, or being mentioned does not activate a seat. Each enabled seat renews monthly until your admin removes it.
What is free in the first month?
Your first month of seat subscription fees is free. A credit card is required to activate ONE, and each activated seat renews at $25 per month after the trial. Usage is separate: your workspace receives 10,000 welcome credits once, granted at activation. If those credits run out during the trial, top up or connect your own OpenRouter key.
What do credits pay for?
Credits pay for ONE’s model calls and metered tool usage. The seat subscription pays for access to ONE and does not include a recurring credit allowance. Premium models and complex tasks can consume more credits.
How does bringing my own key work?
Connect a workspace-owned OpenRouter API key and pay model usage through your own OpenRouter account. You can also configure supported provider keys in that account. Separately metered tools still use your ONE wallet, and activated seats remain $25 per month.
What happens when credits run out?
Add credits to the shared wallet or switch model usage to your own OpenRouter key. New work pauses when its funding source is unavailable. ONE does not silently switch from your key to paid wallet usage.
Do credits expire?
Welcome credits and purchased top-ups stay in your shared wallet and do not expire while your account is active. The 10,000 welcome credits are a one-time workspace offer, not a monthly allowance.
What happens to existing customers?
Existing workspaces keep their current pricing and included credits. The new seat subscription does not automatically replace your existing plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Manage your subscription from Billing. If you cancel, access continues until the end of your current trial or paid subscription period.
